PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Idea

Motivate students by providing incentives for achievement in an effort to significantly reduce student drop- out rates by establishing academic, social, and behavioral goals with parental involvement in order to empower academically-challenged, low socio-economic students with improved developmental skills essential to their success in higher education.

OBJECTIVE

The Goal

A.S.P.I.R.E. aims to identify, recruit, and retain a maximum of 100 students a year across Austin, Georgetown, Manor, Pflugerville and Round Rock school districts, preparing them and their parents for post-secondary education.

APPLICANTS

The Inspired

For admission into the program the student must:
• Be in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade in Middle School
• Be a Freshman or Sophomore in High School
• Attend school in the Austin, Georgetown, Manor, Pflugerville and Round Rock school districts
• Currently have a 2.0 to 2.9 Grade Point Average (GPA)
