As a classroom teacher, I am blessed with the daily opportunity to glimpse the array of potential embedded within many students. I have served a number of young, self-proclaimed, future:  environmentalists, engineers, computer programmers, doctors, music producers, screen writers, physicians, lawyers, community advocates, artists, vocalists, fashion designers, scientists, Broadway performers, etc.  Many of whom work against the odds to accomplish their goals; of which, I have proudly witnessed immeasurable gains and accelerations in their overall achievements.  It was, and still is, my students’ perseverance that cultivated and continues to give life to my concept of A.S.P.I.R.E. (Awarding Students and Promoting Increased Rigor in Education).


I am passionate about empowering my students with tangible skills that provide sustained benefits and drive their success.  These life-skills equip them with a set of invaluable tools that help them to excel in their immediate and future endeavors.  I am determined that my life’s work, both in and out of the classroom, be devoted to elevating my students’ personal and academic achievements.
